5.5 Building a point-to-point link
This section describes (using an example) the interface IP configuration for a point-to-point link.
For each equipment, you can configure the Ethernet port, the Equipment address and four PPP (Point to Point Protocol) software ports from
PPP1 to PPP4. For each PPP software port, you can assign one to five physical ports corresponding to the MNGT port and to slots A, B, C, D, and
channels VC12, references P#1 and P#2.
