The technology used in this sensor consists of the following layers:
- Hardware (electronic) developed by GST
- Firmware (embedded intelligence) developed by GST
- An algorithm based on a technology patented by GST on a European scale under the
number EP2974984.
Therefore the use of the technology is licensed. A non-transferable license for use is
automatically acquired for each acquisition of an SBI sensor and valid throughout the lifetime of
the sensor. By license of use we mean, a registered license without rights of manufacture,
marketing, sub-license.
In the remainder of the document the SBI sensor will only refer to the electronic device while
the SBI kit will be related to the sensor and its accessories.
Similarly the operator sensor per cycle, one cycle will include:
- The wake up of the sensor
- Measurements from 4 to 7 parameters
- Lorawan wireless transmission or communication of measured data
- The reception of any commands intended for the sensor, called downlink
- The sleeping mode of the sensor until the next cycle.
