MATERIALS
A 1 Towbar Mainframe with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
C 1 Side Arm (left hand)
G 1 Side Arm (right hand)
D 4 M12x130mmx1.75 Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and large Flat Washers (40mm O.D.)
D1 2 Bushes (19mm O.D. 96mm long)
D2 2 Bushes (19mm O.D. 100mm long)
E 6 M12x35mmx1.75 Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
F 2 M8x30mmx1.25 Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and 4 Flat Washers (25mmO.D.)
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
Z 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
FITTING
1 Remove the bumper (2 lower wheel arch torx head screws, 2 mud guard bolts, 1 upper tip bolt each side. 4
plastic plugs lower edge. 4 bolts inside boot along rear panel. 3 bolts behind metal side panels inside boot each
side). Lower rear exhaust silencers and remove the lashing down eyes each side. Cut bumper as shown.
2. Find the dimples in the top and bottom of each chassis and drill for Bolts (D) (12.5mm). Open up the forward
holes (D) inside the boot only to take Bushes (D2) (insert bushes D2). Insert Bushes (D1) into the chassis form
large tooling hole in the under side of the chassis for rear holes (D).
3. Loosely attach Side Arms (C) and (G) to Bolts (D) with Large Flat Washers inside the boot and (F) with Flat
Washers under bolt heads and nuts.
4. Loosely attach Towbar Mainframe (A) to Side Arms (C) and (G) using Bolts (E). Tighten all bolts. Refit exhaust
silencers and bumper.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z1) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
