Gas Connection

The installation is usually reserved for qualifi ed installers and technicians. WARNING : The unit comes
preset to city gas (natural gas).

The gas distributed by a city pipeline (natural gas)

The connection is made :
• Either by a fl exible hose with threaded mechanical connectors (fi g. 1)
• Or by a rigid connection (Copper Tubing) (fi g. 2).

Bottled gas in tank (Butane-Propane)

The connection is made:
• Either by fl exible hose with threaded mechanical connectors (fi g. 1)
• Or by a rigid connection (Copper Tubing) (fi g. 2).
WARNING : as shown in Figure 3, it is forbidden to connect a hose with an end piece.
The hose must be used tightly to the standards in force at the time of installation
The fl exible hose must include the different requirements:
He can not reach a temperature other than that of the highest item 30 ° C
It can not be larger than 1.5 m
It is not subject to tension or force
It can be easily inspected in order to check its condition.
Checking the preservation of the fl exible hose:
It does not show cracks, cuts, marks or burns on the outer parts and full length. The fi xing clamps are not
rusted.
The expiration time has not elapsed.
