Using gas burners

Light the burner by pressing the "Ignition" button and hold it pressed
at least 10 seconds so that the safety thermocouple maintains the
fl ame burning.
You can then adjust the fl ame size by turning the button shown in
the fi gure below.

WARNING : At fi rst use, run your burner a few minutes until the fl ame stabilizes. Also, a slight smell
and smoke can escape at the time of ignition, this corresponds to the running of the appliance.
Use fl at pans with a diameter equal to the hotplate.
Do not put anything between the hotplate and the pan.
Be especially careful that the pans are not too small for liquids, since liquid can overfl ow quickly.
The pans should not be too wide for fast cooking. In fact, grease and juices may spread on the bottom and
burn easily.
