When processing frozen fruit or vegetables, always pour a little liquid into the
shaker (1, 5) as well.
Although the device is not suitable for chopping up ice cubes, a few ice cubes
can be added and then blended as ingredients to make smoothies, for example.
For good results, hard foodstuffs should not be processed in large pieces. If
necessary, chop them into cubes approx. 3 cm in size beforehand.
Nuts should only be added to the shaker and chopped up in small portions.
The device has overheating protection and switches off automatically if it is
overloaded. Allow it to cool down for a few minutes before switching it on again.
We recommend that you do not leave the device switched on for longer than 1
minute without interruption.
1. Place the motor unit (3) on a work surface: This must be dry, clean and fl at.
2. Pour the ingredients into the shaker (1, 5) (do not exceed the MAX marking in the
shaker!).
7. To switch it off, turn the shaker (1, 5) anticlockwise. Wait until the blades have come
to a standstill, then remove from the motor unit (3).
8. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
9. Turn over the shaker (1, 5) and unscrew the blade attachment (2, 4).
10. Serve the blended food.
11. Clean the blade attachment (2, 4) and shaker (1, 5) immediately after each use to
prevent germ formation (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter). Do not allow food
residues to dry on.
3. Depending on the type of ingredients, choose either the fl at-
blade attachment (2) or the cross-blade attachment (4) (see
"Items Supplied and Device Overview") and screw it onto the
shaker (1, 5) as far as it will go.
4. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that
is easily accessible.
5. Turn the shaker (1, 5) upside down, and insert it with the blade
attachment (2, 4) fi rst into the motor unit (3). Make sure that the
three locking lugs are recessed in the matching grooves in the
motor unit.
6. To switch on during operation, always hold the motor unit (3)
fi rmly with one hand.
