Introduction
Dear customer,
Thank you for purchasing this recharging device.
In this recharging device, you have purchased a product which was developed according to the state of
the art.
The structure corresponds to Protection Class II. This product fulfills the requirements of the
valid European and national guidelines. Conformity has been established and the relevant state-
ments and documents have been deposited at the manufacturer.
We kindly request you to follow the operating instructions to preserve this condition and to ensure safe
operation.

Intended use

This charging device is to be used exclusively for charging simultaneously up to four nickel-cadmium or
nickel-metal-hydride round cell batteries, types Mono, Baby, Mignon and Micro.
Moreover, two 9V compound nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal-hydride batteries can be charged additio-
nally in the compartments provided for this purpose. These compound batteries may consist of 6, 7 or 8
cells.
The maximum nominal capacity (given in mAh or Ah) of the battery to be charged is not restricted.
This charging managerr is to be used exclusively for recharging the batteries described above. Other
types of batteries must not be recharged!
Lithium ion batteries, rechargeable alkaline and dry batteries (primary cells) must not be recharged by
using this charging set. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
This charging device is constructed according to protection class II. The charging device must be
connected to the AC voltage mains of 230V AC. The mains frequency must be 50 Hz.
The use is only permitted in enclosed spaces and, therefore, it should not be used in the open air.
Contact with moisture, such as in bathrooms, must be avoided.
