Dismantling Veress cannulae

Secure the exterior of the Veress cannulae onto an E 453 injector

nozzle with E 472 spring clamps.
The top end of the Veress cannula is held in place by the wire sup‐
port.
Alternatively an E 499 fitting can be used.
Screw the interior of the Veress cannula into a Luer Lock adapter .

The tap must be open.
