Airfresh Wash 500 is tipped over or liquid
is spilled.
• Do not operate the device if the power
plug or power cord is defective.
• Do not spray flammable materials, e.g.
pesticides or fragrances, near the Airfresh
Wash 500.
• Ensure that the air intake and air outlet are
not covered.
Attention!
• If the power outlet used to operate the
Airfresh Wash 500 is not properly con­
nected, the power plug of the device will
get hot. Ensure that you are using a prop­
erly connected power outlet for the de­
vice.
• Do not place any objects on top of the
Airfresh Wash 500 and do not sit on it.
• Use only the original filter by Soehnle,
which is specifically suited for this Airfresh
Wash 500.
• Do not use the Airfresh Wash 500 after
using incense for insect protection or in
places with oil residue or chemical va­
pours or where incense sticks are burnt.
• Do not use the Airfresh Wash 500 near
heaters, fireplaces, or gas­powered devices.
• Clean the water container every week to
ensure optimum hygiene.
• Fill the water tank only with water
• Do not stand on the device.

3. Device description

A : Housing cover
B : Water tank
C : Screw cap
D : Tub
E : Cleaning drum

4. Proper use

The Airfresh Wash 500 is intended exclu­
sively for cleaning and humidifying room air.

5. Prior to first use

1. Place the device upright on a solid, lev­
el, and moisture­resistant surface. Keep
the device away from walls.
2. To ensure optimum performance of the
device, please ensure that the air inlets
and air outlets are not covered.
3. Inspect the power cord to ensure that it
is not damaged.
4. Remove the housing cover from the
device (1.1). Pull the water tank upward
to remove it from the housing (1.2).
5. Pull the tub out of the housing and
remove the cleaning drum (3.1). Remove
the packaging and insert the drum and
tub back into the device.
6. Place the water tank, with the screw
cap facing up, on a level surface. Open
the screw cap (C) on the bottom of the
tank. Fill the water tank with fresh water.
Then use the screw cap to close the
water tank. Ensure that the water tank is
tightly closed.
7. Insert the water tank back into the hous­
ing and ensure that the water tank is in­
serted securely and correctly.
8. Place the housing cover back on the
housing.
9. Remove the filter cover on the side of
the device (2.1).
10. Remove the packaging from the filter
and insert the filter into the filter cover.
(2.2) Ensure that the white side of the
filter faces in (towards the device).
