Before mounting, ask the
manufacturer if you need to
reinforce the roof.
Mark the contours of the
aligned OWS on the vehicle
roof with the aid of the
dimensioned drawing. Take
account of the curvature of the
roof.
The contact area on the roof
of the vehicle must be free
from snow, ice, and dirt.

Master gauge for all holes
Select a flat location on the
roof of the vehicle and prepare
for installation depending on
the attachment method to be
used.
Open the roof lining in the
passenger compartment. Bore
the holes according to the
dimensioned drawing. Guide
the prepared connecting line
through the cable opening.
Caution:
After mounting and before
every departure make sure
the device is properly
positioned and the clamping
connections are tight.
Take care not to damage
subjacent parts of the vehicle
by boring. We recommend
sealing holes bored through
metal with rust protection
agents. After mounting, seal
cable openings with sealing
cement.
