MAINTENANCE & SERVICE
The user must be trained in the use and care of the machine to ensure safe working and secure weldings.
The B2 LP Gas Hot-Air Overlap Welder must be kept clean from dirt and butimen to ensure that the machine´s
mechanical functions and movements operates correctly. This also to achieve optimal and uniform even welding
results.
Never lift or pull the machine in the electric cord or hose.
All service and repair should be done only by an authorized Sievert Service Centre. For a service centre near you,
please contact your Sievert dealer.

DAILY SERVICE

SAFETY HANDLE
Check that its movement is free
and the spring load mechanism
releases the handle when taking
the hand away.
DRIVE BELT
Check that the drive belt is
clean from bitumen and that the
down holding device is pressing
the drive belt firmly against the
surface.

Note! Gas and electrical supplies must be disconnected before carrying out any form of
maintenance or service.

WELDING NOZZLE
Clean welding nozzle with a steel
wire brush. Check for correct
mounting and make sure that
the downside of the nozzle is flat
against the surface.
AIR HOSE
Check air hose for leakage.
Minor damages can temporary
be repaired with tape.

PRESSURE WHEELS
Check that the pressure wheels
and the down holding device
are free from obstacle and dirt.
Remove all eventual bitumen.
