4. GENERAL INSTRUMENT SETTINGS

To reach the various settings:
switch on the device (do not connect a probe)
Select sub-menu « Params » thanks to quick acces button
Use up and down arrow to make appeared the different menu :
Date and hour
o
Contrast
o
Keys beep
o
Languages
o
Automatic stop
o
Retro-lighting
o
Security code
o
Code
o
To validate a function, press on OK when the wished function is shown on the screen
To escape from the menu, two capabilities :
Some modifications have been made : validate the modification by pressing on the knob.
o
You will get out of the menu.
No modification have been made : press on "ESC"
o
Press on "ESC" to come back to the different measurement functions
4.1 Date and hour setting
Use the up and down arrow to settle each figures of the date and of the hour, and validate at each
time pressing on OK. To return to a figure previously validated, press on " ESC ".
4.2 Contrast setting
By the means of the up and down arrows, adjust the contrast of the screen from 0 to 7 and validate by
pressing OK.
4.3 Keys beep setting
It is possible to activate or to deactivate the tone of keys. Validate the chosen option by pressing on
OK.
4.4 Languages
By the means of the up and down arrow, browse the different available languages and validate
pressing on OK.
4.5 Automatic stop
It is possible to cancel the automatic stop of the device or to settle it. For that purpose, use the
scrolling down knob and choose " OFF " to cancel the automatic stop or choose a value (15 to 120
minutes).
4.6 Retro-lighting
It is possible to select the retro-lighting level of the display (1 to 9 or OK) by means of pressing up and
down arrow and press OK to validate.
