Setting the presence detection

The presence detection is handled via an infrared sensor on the actuator plate and
controls the automatic triggering of flushes - main flush and pre-flush if necessary -
when moving away and approaching the urinal (see 1.4 Presence detection).
You must set the minimum range of the range setting for urinals (see table 2: Pres-
ence detection).
It may be necessary in particularly small rooms (a minimum distance of 1 m to items
on the opposite side or to the wall, a minimum distance of 2 m to reflective surfac-
es) to deactivate the presence detection and therefore the automatic flushing (mains
version) (see Deactivating/activating the presence detection) or to set the minimum
range of the range setting (battery version).
You can increase or decrease the presence detection range by pressing the "Presence
detection" button on the remote control (see table 2: Presence detection).
> Press the "+" setting button if you want to increase the range.
> Press the "-" setting button if you want to decrease the range.
The status LED flashes twice each time you press the button. The presence detection
range is increased/decreased by the corresponding steps.
The status LED flashes 5 times in succession if you have reached the maximum or
minimum range.

Deactivating/activating the presence detection (mains version only)

It may be necessary in particularly small rooms (a minimum distance of 1 m to items
opposite or to the wall, a minimum distance of 2 m to reflective surfaces) to deactivate
the presence detection and switch to manual flushing. You can deactivate/activate the
presence detection by pressing the "Presence detection" button on the remote control
(see table 2: Presence detection).
> Press the "-" setting button for 4 seconds.
The status LED flashes 3 times. The presence detection is deactivated.
> Press the "+" setting button.
The status LED flashes twice. The presence detection is activated.
