Height adjustment of the tonearm (VTA)

In order to be able to use cartridges of differ-
ent heights, the tonearm Thorens TP 92 can
be adjusted in height. The VTA (vertical tracking
angle) is adjusted by gently loosening the upper
circlip with the enclosed tool and then twisting
the lower, fluted ring. Each revolution of the lower
ring corresponds to a height change of 1 mm
(FIG. 11). After correct adjustment of the VTA, the
circlip is tightened again.
