Connecting the heater to the control unit
The CoCo MTS peripheral is required to con-
nect the E8.5064 control unit to the heaters.
(you need one per heater; so if you have 3
heaters you will need 3 x CoCo MTS).

connection and assigning the code

ASSIGNING THE HEATER ADDRESS

Each heater communicates with the E8 ca-
scade control unit by means of a CoCo MTS
peripheral. Each heater concerned (from a
minimum of 2 to a maximum of 8) must be
assigned a unique BUS address for purposes
of identifi cation.
The E8 cascade control unit uses the num-
bers to activate the various heaters in se-
quence according to the plant's power
requirement. The identifi cation number is
confi gured using the micro-switches (E) on
the CoCo MTS.
Refer to the picture on how to confi gure the
identifi cation numbers
N.B.
The identifi cation numbers should be en-
tered in order, always starting with heater
no. 1.
