• Never use the product near explosive liquids or gases. There is a risk of explosion!
• Subsequent damage to the product caused by errors or malfunctions must be prevented by
suitable means (e.g. water level indicator, sensors, alarm devices, backup pump, or similar).
• Use the product in moderate climates only. Do not use in tropical climates.
• Never block the outlet side of the garden pump during use.
Use, for example, a suitable pressure switch that disconnects the power supply to the product
in time.
In order to avoid damage, the pump may work against the closed pressure side for a maximum
of 5 minutes only. Already during those 5 minutes the water in the product heats up. Once
opening the pressure side, hot water escapes. There is a risk of burning/injury!
• Before each use, check the complete product for damage, e.g. to the housing or mains cable/
mains plug.
In case of damage, the product must not be operated.
If the product is already connected to the mains, first disconnect the corresponding socket at
all poles by switching off the safety device or removing the fuse and subsequently by switching
off the corresponding FI switch.
Only then disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket. After that, do not continue to use the
product. Return it to a specialist workshop.
Never attempt to repair the product yourself. Always contact an expert.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Always disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket when not using the product, when
troubleshooting or when cleaning or maintaining the product.
• Never pull on the cable to unplug the power plug. Always hold the plug at its lateral grip
surfaces when unplugging the plug.
• Never touch the mains plug with moist or wet hands. This poses a risk of fatal electric shock!
• Carry the product at its handle. Never do so by holding the mains cable or hose.
