FM Radio
In frequency mode or channel mode, briefly press the FM/SOS side key [9] to activate the FM
Radio function.
Use the ▲/▼ keys to manually search for a frequency, enter the frequency manually by pressing
the number keys or press the #SCAN key to start the automatic search. The search will stop
when the radio finds a valid signal.
Press the FM/SOS key [9] again to exit the FM Radio function.
Note: If, while listening to FM radio, the radio receives a VHF/UHF signal, it will automatically
switch to frequency mode or channel mode. After the signal disappears, the radio will return
to FM Radio mode.
TX repeater tones 1000Hz, 1450Hz, 1750Hz, 2100Hz
Press the PTT key + the Flashlight/Monitor key [11] to send a repeater tone. This function is
useful for signal repeater communication.
Even if you have the key lock function active, the PTT and Monitor keys remain functional. You
can send a repeater tone without unlocking the keys.
