8. Indicates locked keypad. To unlock the keypad, press the * key

12. Battery level indicator. When the battery is very low, the icon flashes and the emission is
blocked. Charge the battery.
13. and 17. Depending on the settings, it will display the frequency in use, the channel name,
menu settings, etc.
14. and 15. Indicates VHF in use or indicates the menu or setting you are on.
16. and 18. Indicates the stored channel number.
When the battery is discharged:
• The icon will appear on the screen
• Periodically the radio will beep and the keyboard will turn on.
• If the voice prompt function is active, you will hear the message Low voltage.
