STOP using the tool immediately if any of the following problems occur. Serious
personal injury could occur. Any repairs or replacements must be done by a
qualified person or an authorized service centre only.
CAUTION!
l Disconnect the tool from air supply before performing any service procedure.
l When inserting new or re-installing O-rings, make sure they are clean and
lubricated with an O-ring lubricant.
SYMPTOM
Air leak near top of tool or in trigger area
Air leak near bottom of tool, between body and front
plate
Air leak between body and cylinder cap
Blade driving fastener too deeply
Tool does not operate well: cannot drive fastener or
operates sluggishly
Tool skips fasteners
Fasteners jam in tool or magazine
Tool will not drive fasteners down tight
Please contact your authorized dealer for replacement parts or specifications.

O-ring in trigger valve area is damaged
Trigger valve head is damaged
Trigger valve stem, seal, or O-ring is damaged

Inadequate air supply
Inadequate lubrication
Broken spring in cylinder cap
Exhaust port in cylinder head is blocked

Worn or dry O-ring on piston- lack of lubrication
Damaged O-ring on trigger valve
Cylinder cap is leaking
Joint guide is worn
Fasteners are the wrong size or damaged
Magazine screws or front plate clamp are loose
Blade in piston assembly is damaged
Worn blade in piston assembly
Lack of power
Slow cycling and loss of power

SOLUTION
Check and replace O-ring
Check and replace
Check and replace trigger valve stem, seal, or
O-ring.
Tighten screws
Check and replace O-ring or bumper
Tighten screws
Check and replace seal
Replace bumper
Adjust air pressure
Verify adequate air supply
Place 2 to 6 drops of oil into air inlet
Replace spring
Replace damaged internal parts
Replace bumper or pusher spring
Clean drive channel in front plate
Check hose and compressor fittings
Replace O-ring or lubricate
Replace O-ring
Replace seal
Replace joint guide
Use only recommended fasteners
Tighten all
Replace piston assembly
Replace piston assembly
Adjust regulator to adequate pressure
Check cylinder cap spring for broken coils, reduced
length, or if exhaust port is blocked
