Before Initial Use

CAUTION!
■ Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and ani-
mals.
1. Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items
Supplied and Device Overview" chapter) and possible transport damage. If you fi nd
any damage, do not use the device (!), but rather contact the customer service de-
partment.
2. Remove any protective fi lms and stickers that may be present from the device.
3. Clean the accessories before you fi rst use them as they may have possible produc-
tion residues on them. For this purpose please follow the instructions in the "Cleaning
and Storage" chapter.

Assembly

CAUTION!
■ Be careful when handling the cutting inserts; the blades are sharp! Only ever grip the
plastic parts.
Use with Cutting Inserts
Use with Sorbet Maker
1. Insert the cutting insert (8) that you want into the cutting insert
holder (1). Make sure when you do this that the cutting insert (8)
is seated correctly. It must click audibly into place.
To remove a cutting insert (8), simply pull it out. Caution, only
touch the plastic parts when doing this!
2. Insert the cutting insert holder (1) into the device:
a. Hold it tilted slightly to the left and insert it into the motor
unit (6).
b. Turn it to the right until it audibly engages.
To release the cutting insert holder (1), turn it to the left and
detach it from the motor unit (6).
1. Insert the screw conveyor (13) into the receptacle for the screw
conveyor (15).
2. Place the protective cap with outlet (14) onto the receptacle
for the screw conveyor (15) so that the locking lugs are in the
recesses provided for them and the outlet is at the bottom right.
3. Turn the protective cap with outlet (14) clockwise to secure it.
