E - Temperature sensor accessories
Important:
- The sensor inputs (B1-M and B2-M) of the remote controls being connected to the 230V, use cable which satisfi es
the corresponding insulation requirements.
- Maximum connection length: 10 m with 1.5 mm
- To avoid electromagnetic disturbance, do not route sensor connection next to power cables.
• Temperature sensor (bare) for the remote controls "RCC" - code 70250053
- Type CTN 3 kΩ at 25°C.
- IP 65 - cl. II.
- Possible use:
- Change-over sensor (heating/cooling switch) for the units 2-pipe heating and cooling:
Use a retaining clip to secure this sensor to part of the piping representative of the water temperature in the
system.
Use thermoconductive paste and cover the sensor with insulation (not supplied) to ensure that the true temperature
is recorded.
• Air temperature sensor in box for the remote controls "RCC" - code 70250054
- Type CTN 3 kΩ at 25°C.
- IP 30 - cl. II.
- Air temperature sensor:
The thermostats operate according to the ambient air temperature measured internally or according to the
temperature indicated by the external sensor (switching takes place automatically as soon as the external sensor is
connected).
Control connection as per the following diagrams.
F - Special features of the remote controls
• Change-over (heating/cooling switch)
- Instead of the temperature sensor, a potential-free
external contact (not supplied) can be connected, the
closing of which causes the thermostat to switch to
cooling mode and the opening causes it to switch to
heating mode.
- The same contact can control up to ten controls by
connecting the sensor inputs (B2-M) of the various
thermostats in parallel.
- Important:
- The 230V power supply of the controls connected in this manner must come from the same source. The
polarities must be strictly respected.
- Maximum total connection length: 80 m with 1.5 mm
- As the sensor inputs are connected to 230V, use a contact and cable which satisfy the corresponding
insulation requirements.
- To avoid electromagnetic disturbance, do not route this connection next to power cables.
• Mode switch Eco/Stand-by:
- The same external contact (not supplied) can control
up to ten commands by connecting the corresponding
inputs in parallel (D1 - GND).
- Important:
- The 230V power supply of the controls
connected in this manner must come from the
same source. The polarities must be strictly
respected.
- Maximum total connection length: 80 m with 1.5 mm
- To avoid electromagnetic disturbance, do not route this connection next to power cables.
5 - ACCESSORIES
5.1 - ACTIVATED CARBON AIR FILTER - code 397021909 (MPW1-2) - 397021910 (MPW3-4)
• See "Operating instructions".
5.2 - 3-WAY VALVE + BY-PASS - code 70600071 (FOR THE MODELS WHERE IT IS NOT
PROVIDED)
• The valve is supplied without coupling or tube and is to be installed outside of the unit.
• The thermic actuator must be connected following the system wiring diagram.
