Function
The appliance continuously measures
the actual humidity in your room (actual
value) and compares it with the pro-
grammed setpoint (reference value).
The displayed actual value can deviate
from the reference value. If it remains
under the reference value for a prolong-
ed period of time, the appliance must be
switched to the next highest level.
If you wish to use the appliance solely for
air purification purposes for a consider-
able period of time, empty the water
tanks/close the valve in the water supply
(PH14A).

Choose location

Fig. 4 To ensure optimized room-air cir-
culation do not place the appliance di-
rectly against a wall. Place the appli-
ance on a level surface, as freestanding
and as readily accessible as possible.
Do not place the appliance behind cur-
tains since this will adversely affect the
air circulation.
If the appliance is placed under a table,
there must be a clearance of at least 10
cm between the table and the appli-
ance.
Do not place anything on the appliance
since this would reduce its efficiency.

2
When the actual value (e.g. 40) ist
less than the reference value (e.g.
45), the appliance humidifies the
room air and purifies it simultane-
ously.
4
Move the PH14 carefully. Do not lift
the appliance (to prevent spilling
the water on the floor).
3
When the reference value (e.g. 45)
is reached, the appliance purifies
the room air without humidifying it.
5
Continuous direct solar radiation is
harmful for your appliance.
