NOTES:
1.) The towing hitch is a safety related product and may only be installed by authorized persons.
If spare parts are later required to replace damaged components, only an authorized
person is allowed to fit such parts. Not only are alterations to this towing hitch not allowed,
such modifications lead to an immediate cancellation of the official approval.
2.) When towing take note of the information in the owners manual.
3.) For the maximum trailer weight permissible for your car, please contact your Toyota dealer.
4.) The tow ball and bracket may only be used for the towing of trailers equipped with
corresponding tow ball couplings. If it is necessary to remove the towing eyelet to enable
the tow ball and bracket to be fitted, the tow ball and bracket serve to replace it, provided
that the allowable towed load is not exceeded and towing takes place on usual traffic
roads.
