CAUTION
As the main plug is used to disconnect the unit from the mains, connect the unit to an easily accessible
AC outlet. Should you notice an abnormality in the unit, disconnect the main plug from the AC outlet
immediately.

Precautions
On safety
• Completely disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead) from the wall outlet (mains) if it is not going to
be used for an extended period of time. When unplugging the unit, always grip the plug. Never pull
the cord itself.
• Should any solid object or liquid get into the system, unplug the system, consult your nearest Sony
dealer.
On placement
• Do not place the system in an inclined position or in locations that are extremely hot, cold, dusty, dirty,
or humid or lacking adequate ventilation, or subject to vibration, direct sunlight or under lighting
equipment.
• Do not leave any objects susceptible to magnetism (cash cards, credit cards with magnetic coding,
etc.) near the unit.
• Be careful when placing the system on surfaces that have been specially treated (for example, wax, oil,
polish) as staining or discoloration of the surface may result.
• Make sure not to splash water on the unit. This unit is not waterproof.
On heat buildup
• If you use this unit for a long time, the temperature of this unit may rise, but it is not a malfunction.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation holes or insert small objects into it. The unit may short out or
malfunction.
On cleaning
Clean this system with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any
type of abrasive pad, scouring powder, or solvent, such as thinner, benzine, or alcohol.
Handling the FM antenna
• When adjusting the length, hold the antenna by the thickest part and top, and extend/retract it slowly.
• When adjusting the direction, hold the antenna by the thickest part and rotate it. If you move the
antenna by the top or apply strong force, it may break.
• Handle the antenna with care. Trying to move in an inappropriate direction may damage the antenna.

About the Voice Guidance
IMPORTANT: THE SOUND GUIDANCE IS AVAILABLE IN THIS PRODUCT ONLY IN
ENGLISH
Depending on the status of the system, the voice guidance outputs from the speaker as followings.
• When setting the system to the pairing mode; "BLUETOOTH pairing"
• When connected to a BLUETOOTH® device; "BLUETOOTH connected"
• When disconnected from a BLUETOOTH device; "BLUETOOTH disconnected"
• When the settings are completed for the Speaker Add function; "Double mode"
• When pressing and holding the ADD (Speaker Add) button during the Speaker Add function; "Left/
Right/Double mode"
• The frequency of the FM tuner will be read out in English when the Tuner function is selected, during
manual tuning operation and when receiving with Auto-scan (Seek).
The frequency of the FM tuner can be shown in "Sony | Music Center (SongPal)" application as follows:
1. Connect the system to your smartphone, iPhone, etc. via BLUETOOTH connection.
2. Start up the "Sony | Music Center" on your smartphone.
3. Select [(model name)] - [FM Tuner].

Précautions
Sécurité
• Débranchez complètement le cordon d'alimentation secteur de la prise murale s'il ne doit pas être
utilisé pendant une longue période. Lorsque vous débranchez le système, tenez toujours le cordon
d'alimentation par la fiche. Ne tirez jamais directement sur le cordon.
• Si un objet solide ou un liquide s'introduit dans le système, débranchez-le et consultez le revendeur
Sony le plus proche.
Lieu d'installation
• Ne mettez pas le système dans une position inclinée et ne le laissez pas dans des lieux extrêmement
chauds, froids, poussiéreux, sales, humides ou sans aération appropriée. Évitez de le soumettre à des
vibrations, et ne l'exposez pas directement au soleil ou sous un appareil d'éclairage.

Manipulation de l'antenne FM
• Lors du réglage de la longueur, tenez l'antenne par sa partie la plus épaisse et sa partie supérieure,
puis sortez-la lentement.
• Lors du réglage de l'orientation, tenez l'antenne par sa partie la plus épaisse, puis faites-la pivoter.
L'antenne risque de se briser si vous la déplacez en la tenant par sa partie supérieure ou si vous
appliquez trop de force.
• Manipulez l'antenne avec précaution. Toute tentative d'orienter l'antenne vers une direction incorrecte
risque de l'endommager.

Selon l'état du système, le guidage vocal peut être émis par le haut-parleur comme suit.
• Lors du réglage du système au mode de jumelage ; « BLUETOOTH pairing » (jumelage BLUETOOTH)
• Lorsque connecté à un périphérique BLUETOOTH® ; « BLUETOOTH connected » (BLUETOOTH connecté)
• Lorsque déconnecté d'un périphérique BLUETOOTH ; « BLUETOOTH disconnected » (BLUETOOTH
déconnecté)
• Lorsque les réglages de la fonction Speaker Add (Ajout d'enceinte) sont terminés ; « Double mode »
(mode Double)
• Lorsque vous appuyez d'une manière prolongée sur la touche ADD (Ajout d'enceinte) pendant la
fonction Speaker Add (Ajout d'enceinte) ; « Left/Right/Double mode » (mode Gauche/Droit/Double)
• La fréquence du syntoniseur FM s'affichera en anglais lorsque la fonction Tuner (Syntoniseur) est
sélectionnée pendant une syntonisation manuelle et lors d'une réception avec un balayage
automatique (recherche).
La fréquence du syntoniseur FM peut être affichée sous l'application « Sony | Music Center (SongPal) »
comme suit :
1 Connectez le système au smartphone, iPhone, etc., via une connexion BLUETOOTH.
2 Démarrez « Sony | Music Center » sur le smartphone.
3 Sélectionnez [(nom de modèle)] - [FM Tuner].
