Grundsätzliches beim
Programmieren mit Universal-
Handy 55015:
- Register CV1 bis CV4 können direkt
programmiert werden, indem der
gewünschte Funktionswert in das
betreffende Register eingetragen
wird.
- Für höhere CVs gilt:
- In Register CV6 die Nummer des
zu programmierenden Registers
eintragen.
- In Register CV5 dann der
gewünschte Funktionswert pro-
grammiert.
Programmierbeispiel:
Übernahme-Funktion einschalten
(Register CV54 auf Funktionswert 3
programmieren).
Programmierablauf:
- Anzeige zeigt "P --"
- Register CV6 wählen (Taste 6
drücken).
- 54 eingeben (zu programmieren-
des Register).
- Programmierablauf auslösen
(rechte Pfeiltaste drücken).
- Anzeige zeigt "P --"
- Register CV5 wählen (Taste 5
drücken).
- 3 eingeben (zu programmierender
Funktionswert).
- Programmierablauf auslösen
(rechte Pfeiltaste drücken).
Beim Programmieren mit 55045
werden alle Werte direkt program-
miert.

MOW Electric Loco
THE PROTOTYPE
Electrified railroads all over the world
rely on their overhead "catenary"
power lines to supply electricity to
their trains. These railroads employ a
variety of maintenance-of-way (MOW)
trains to perform repairs and routine
service to the overhead lines.
THE MODEL
This detailed replica features:
- weather-resistant construction
- factory-installed onboard decoder
for MTS and analog operation
- track or catenary power operation
- three-way power control switch
- protected gearbox with seven-pole
Bühler motor

OPERATION
Operating Modes
This model has a three-way power
control switch in the cab (Fig. 1, 2):
Left: Power to motor and lights, track
power (factory pre-set)
Center: All power off
Right: Power to motor and lights,
catenary power
CAUTION! This model may be pow-
ered with a catenary on analog lay-
outs only. For operation with the dig-
ital Multi-Train System, the model
must use track power. Otherwise,
dangerously high voltages may
result.
Attention: Do not connect this model
to other loco models with different
starting characteristics. This can
damage the internal gearing.
Multi-Train System
The model is equipped with a facto-
ry-installed onboard decoder for the
LGB Multi-Train System. It can be
used without modifications on ana-
log or digital layouts. For operation
with the Multi-Train System, the
model is programmed to loco
address 03. For information on pro-
gramming the loco address, see the
instructions for various MTS compo-
nents.
When operating with the Multi-Train
System, you can remotely control the
loco's functions. Press the lighting
button ("9" with remotes) to turn the
loco lights on or off. Press the func-
tion button 1 to turn the flashing
lights on the roof on or off.
