Preparing the machine

1. Turn off the machine and unplug the power cord from the mains outlet.

2. Fold the leftover holder completely back so that it is fixed in this position (see also
description in Fig. 2).
To grind the knife, the grinder must be rearranged.

3. Loosen the knurled nut that secures the grinder on the back (note: Fig. 13 shows
the device from the back).
