If the food carriage does not fold down, the slice thickness adjustment
knob is not properly positioned. The feed mark on the outer housing must

5. Loosen the fixing screw with the included Allen key.
6. Remove the blade cover plate.

7. Wipe the blade surface and the feed plate clean with a damp cloth as shown. Then
wipe the blade and the feed plate dry with a soft cloth in the same way. Prevent
moisture from getting into the blade hub.
