Connection to a Unicable system
The Unicable function can be applied only if the structure of
the receiving system or its components have been prepared
correspondingly, i.e. if a functional Unicable system is available.
The digital satellite receiver S2X allows switching the receiving mode to the
Unicable standard instead of the different LNB frequencies. Thus, depending on
the system type it is possible to connect up to eight receivers independently
from each other to just one trunk line.
To achieve this, set a separate ZF channel and the corresponding frequency for
every receiver in the Setup menu.
The assignment of channels and frequencies depends on the manufacturer of
LNB or multiswitch.
The data sheet and technical documentation of your LNB and/or multiswitch
contain an assignment table similar to the one below.
