- Check regularly, but most defi nitely before every use, the mains cable and mains plug for
damage.
- If any damage is visible, then further use of the unit must not be made.
- If any damage and/or reduced functioning occurs, switch off and do not manipulate the unit.
- If, in such as event, a repair is necessary, contact an authorised by the manufacturer custo-
mer service point.
- Clean the surface of the housing and the guard with a dry cleaning cloth and a damp brush
(page 20).
- Clean only the exterior surfaces. Do not dismantle the device to clean it.
- Do not use petrol or any similar light fl ammable cleaning material.
- After cleaning, the fan must be completely re-assembled.
Storage
- If the fan is not to be used for some time, then store it in a dry room.
- In addition, you could put a cover on your unit to protect it from dust or dirt deposits.
Disposal
- Remove mains plug.
- Cut through the mains cable at the plug.
- Dispose of the unit in a proper manner.

Help with faults
Fault
Blade does not turn.
If the fault can not be remedied using the above listed remedies, then the plug has to be
removed from the socket.
A specialist must now establish the cause and carry out the repair work accordingly.
If the mains cable to this unit is damaged, then it can only be repaired by a repair workshop
named by the manufacturer, due a special tool being needed.
Note:
Opening the unit and repairs may only be carried out by a specialist!
Clock setup
For setting the clock which is shown at the display of the fan, please use following buttons
while fan is in off position but power cord is connected:
- To set the hour, press button
- To set the hour, press button
- To set the minutes press button
- To set the minutes press button
Cause
Speed setting to „0".
Mains plug not correctly
