CUTTER SAFETY GUARD
The cutter is protected by the safety guards
which must always be fitted when operating
the hoe.
ATTENTON – the safety guards are for
your safety; they must be fitted securely in
place with appropriated screws before the
power hoe is used. Always check they are
screwed down properly before use.
The power hoe has a PTO shaft for optional
applications (fig. 10, part. 3). To use the
PTO, remote the safety cover (fig. 18, part.
2) by unscrewing the screws provided (fig.
18, part. 1).
For safety reasons, always keep the safety
cover on the PTO shaft when it is not
being used.
The specifications and the number of PTO
shaft revs are indicated in the specifications
table.
MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT
1) The joints, control wires and the belt-
tensioner support pin must be oiled
regularly.
2) Keep the machine and the blades clean.
3) Check that nuts and bolts are tight,
(fig. 17 )

especially those on the cutter, at least once
a season.
4) Refer to the instructions manual supplied
with the motor when changing the oil or
before any other maintenance on the motor
(spark plugs, air filter, tuning).
