Before Initial Use

ATTENTION!
■ There may still be some production residues on the device. To avoid harmful effects
to your health, clean the device before you fi rst use it (see "Cleaning and Care").
1. Remove any fi lms or stickers that may be present from the device.
2. Unwind the mains cable from the cable winder to the length you require.
3. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant, fl at surface a suffi cient distance away from
fl ammable objects.
4. Start operating the device (see "Use" | "Making Coffee" and "Use" | "Toasting")
5. Allow two to three full tanks of water to run through the coffee machine (without any
coffee powder) to fl ush through the lines etc.
6. Perform three toasting operations at the highest level without bread. During this time,
make sure the room is well ventilated, e. g. with wide-open windows!

Use

The two functions of the device can be used both simultaneously and separately from
one another.
Making Coffee
ATTENTION!
■ Before you fi rst operate the device, make sure that the water tank cover is closed and
that the permanent fi lter holder and the permanent fi lter are inserted correctly so that
the water can run through the coffee powder without any problems.
