CHAPTER 3 - USE AND ADJUSTMENTS
WARNING
ALL ADJUSTMENTS MUST BE
MADE WHILE THE MACHINE IS DIS-
CONNECTED FROM THE MAINS BY
UNPLUGGING.
3-1 HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the Feed unit for height, it is
necessary to take account of the thick-
ness of the piece to be cut.
The wheels must be positioned over the
workstand 3-4 mm below the minimum
height of the piece, so as to ensure
constant grip; the suspension system
will offset any height differences.

3-2 TILT ADJUSTMENT
The Driver has been designed to be
used on several machines.
In any case, to make sure that the piece
movement is parallel to the guide-
square, it is necessary to place the
Feed unit at a slight angle to the direc-
tion of the piece motion.
Therefore, whenever the Feed unit is
used with the motor in a vertical posi-
tion, the delivery roller should be 5-6
cm closer to the square than the entry
roller.
Similarly, when the Feed unit is used in
a horizontal position, the delivery wheel
must be brought 5-6 mm closer to the
workstand than the entry wheel.
