BEHAVIOUR WHEN GATE MEETS AN OBSTACLE

The gate can detect an obstacle in two ways:
A- Detection by the additional safety device (photocell or safety strip)
Interior device
A During opening
If, during the opening process, the interior photocell
detects an obstacle, the gate stops. Once the obstacle
disappears, the gate opens completely after a few
moments.

The flashing light goes off and the SCA light remains
on.
B During closing
If, during the closing process, the interior photocell is
activated, the gate stops. Once the obstacle disappears,
the gate opens completely after a few moments.


B- Direct detection (sensibility of the operator)
During opening
1 If, during the opening, the gate meets an obstacle,
the operator inverts the direction and softly closes
the gate, remaining on standby indefinitely. The
operator continues the opening process when the
remote control or wall key is operated.
2 Should there be a collision in three consecutive
opening operations, the two leaves will move to
their original position, with this position being
stored as the new closing stopper.

DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

Erreka Automatismos declares that the ABC2M-009
control panel has been designed for use in a machine or
for assembly along with other elements in order to form
a machine in line with Directive 89/392 EEC and
successive modifications.
The ABC2M-009 control panel allows the carrying out
of installations in line with Standards EN 13241-1 and
EN 12453.

Exterior device
A During opening
The gate continues to open even when the exterior
device detects an obstacle.
B During closing
If, during the closing cycle, the exterior device is
operated, the operator stops and the gate begins to
open immediately.
During closing
1 If, during the closing, the gate meets an obstacle,
the operator stops and the gate begins to open
immediately through to the opening stopper,
remaining on standby until the remote control or
wall button is operated.
2 Should the gate once again meets an obstacle
during a second consecutive closing operation, the
operator once again stops and the gate begins to
open through to the opening stopper, with the
leaves then moving to their original position.
The ABC2M-009 control panel complies with safety
legislation, in line with the following directives and
regulations:
• 73/23 EEC and successive modification 93/68 EEC
• 89/366 EEC and successive modifications 92/31 EEC
and 93/68 EEC
• UNE-EN 60335-1
