Warning messages
via the display
Warning messages are indicated on the
display.
Temperature alarm
A temperature alarm is indicated
separately on the display for each section.
The highest temperature reached in the
section is indicated on the display. In
addition an acoustic signal is sounded
and the alarm button flashes.
Temperature alarm, freezer compartment
Cause
- Power failure
- Storage of fairly large quantities of fresh
food
- Fault in the appliance
Remedial action
S Touch the alarm button.
The acoustic signal switches off.
The previous error messages continue to
be displayed for several minutes. The
alarm button goes out when the set
temperature has been reached again.
The display switches back to the standard
display.
Note:
- If a temperature alarm occurs, the
appliance may automatically switch off
the acoustic signal when the set
temperature has been reached again.
- If warning messages are displayed, no
adjustments can be made with the
buttons.
- Do not refreeze food which has started
to thaw or already thawed. Only food
which has been prepared (cooked or
fried) may be refrozen. No longer store
the frozen produce for the max. storage
period.
Sensor failure
Cause
A technical defect on the appliance is
possible.
Remedial action
Conduct a self test on the appliance.
Low voltage
The display light switches off and none of
the buttons is illuminated.
Cause
The mains voltage falls below the
permitted limiting value.
Remedial action
No button actuations are possible. When
the mains voltage reaches the stipulated
value again, the warning message goes
out. If the warning message lasts for
longer, inform the energy supply
company.
