Operation
When you are at home
When you are at home and in the monitored area, activate the „HOME" mode. The motion sensor is not acti-
vated and you can move freely around the house. However, the magnetic contacts remain active to ensure your
personal safety.
You can, of course, also fully activate the internal motion sensor whilst you are in the house. In this case, fol-
low the instructions described in the section: „When you are away".
When you are away
When you leave the house (or when you are at home but are not using the monitored area) simply activate the
„AWAY" mode. The internal motion sensor and the magnetic contacts are automatically activated approxi-
mately one minute after you leave the monitored area.
Emergency
You can use the „HOME" and „AWAY" buttons on the IR remote control as panic buttons. They are always
active, whether the system is in the „HOME", „AWAY" or „OFF" mode. Press and hold down either the „HOME"
or „AWAY" button for two seconds, pointing the IR remote control towards the IR receiver and the alarm is trig-
gered.
The „HOME" or „AWAY" LED lights up to display the countdown when you hold down the button.
Switching off the alarm
To switch off the alarm, simply press the „OFF" button. In the „OFF" mode, the magnetic contacts and the
motion sensor are de-activated. In this case, the system cannot detect any intruders; the panic button, howev-
er, remains active.
Switching operating modes
To make sure that the system is fully functional, you should completely switch off the alarm system before you
switch to a new operating mode.
Never switch directly from the „HOME" to the „AWAY" mode (or vice versa) if the alarm system is activated;
otherwise, there will be no exit delay.
This does not affect the panic button, which is available if required.
