You can mount the alarm set on either a flat wall or in a corner. However, only install the alarm set indoors in
an area where it will be protected from outside conditions, such as damp and strong sunlight.
It is also important to mount it on a firm surface that ensures the maximum possible detection angle and where
any intruder would have to pass through the angle of detection.
What not to do:
- Avoid mounting the alarm set in a location where hot or cold air can directly affect it.
- Never expose the alarm system to extreme temperature fluctuations. (Place it beyond the range of air con-
ditioners, metal walls, radiators, windows, freezers, refrigerators, barbecues)
- There should be no large objects in front of the alarm system. This could negatively affect the detection
range.
Mounting the alarm set outside could lead to serious and perhaps irreparable damage, which
would limit the alarm set's effectiveness.
