8 CHEEK PADS
8.1 REMOVAL
Prerequisite: sit down and place the helmet upside-down on your knees. Unfasten the retention
system and start the operation on the right-hand side.
Slide your hand inside the helmet between the cheek pads and the polystyrene shell, then
•
release the three snap buttons (1) that secure the cheek pad to the polystyrene shell.
Pull on the cheek pad until the attachment blade (2) is released from its red plastic slots (3).
•
There are two on each side of the helmet.
Remove the cheek pad by releasing it from the retention system (4) using the retention
•
system housing (5).
Repeat the previous operations on the left-hand side.
•
The cheek pads are completely detached, and you can now remove them.

8.2 INSTALLATION
Prerequisite: sit down with the helmet upside-down on your knees. Start the operation on the
right-hand side.
Insert the cheek pad into the shell, then insert the retention system (4) into the retention
•
system housing (5) in the cheek pad.
Insert the cheek pad attachment blade (2) between the outer shell and the polystyrene shell,
•
securing the shaped edge to its red plastic slots (3).
We recommend attaching the cheek pad first to the rear, then to the front.
Attach the cheek pad to the polystyrene shell by fastening the three snap buttons (1).
•
Repeat the previous operations on the left-hand side.
•
Check that the cheek pad is securely attached.
