After charging the battery pack allow it to cool down. Do not leave it in warm areas or in
direct sunlight.
Charge the battery with the charger supplied only.
Cold weather operation
This lithium battery pack functions optimally at temperatures between 0° C and 40° C.
The output of the battery pack may be significantly impaired if the battery pack is very
cold.
Charging the battery pack
Note: this Lithium battery pack is supplied with partial charge. Charge the battery pack
fully prior to first use. A fully discharged battery pack can be fully charged to an optimum
extent at an ambient temperature of between 0°C and 40° C.
Charge the lithium-ion battery pack using the matching, supplied charger. Connect the
charger to the matching socket on the bottom side of the lamp and only then connect the
mains plug to a suitable socket outlet. The charging indicator lights up, as soon as all the
bars of the charging indicator light up, the battery is fully charged.
The light can also be used when the charger is connected. However, in this case, the
charging process is interrupted.
Replacing the LED bulb
It is not possible to replace the LED bulb. If a fault occurs, please contact your
STORCH sales team member or the STORCH service hotline.
Commissioning
The luminaire is switched on by pressing the Plus button on the back. Pressing the Plus
button multiple times enables switching to the brighter lighting levels. The luminaire has
a total of 4 lighting levels: 25 %, 50 %, 75 % and 100 %. The Minus button switches to
the next lower lighting level. The luminaire is switched off if the Minus button is pushed
again after reaching the lowest lighting level.
Charging function of the USB interface
The power LED battery 50 W light is equipped with an additional USB interface that can
be used for charging your devices, e.g. your smartphone. In order to optimise battery life,
the USB interface can be turned on and off separately. Switching on: Press and hold the
on button for 3 sec. - Switching off: Press and hold the off button for 3 sec.
