When securing the roller blind (1) in front of the rear bench seat (2), the supplied lock pin (3) must be inserted
vertically, from top to bottom in the hole (4) shown in Fig. I.
This step must be carried out when stowing away the cassette (roller blind) (refer to Owner's Handbook, operation,
loading area (boot) of touring, stowing away).
Concluding jobs

All auxiliary wiring harnesses must be secured with cable ties at suitable pints.
Reassemble vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
Reconnect battery.
Carry out function check.
Print out fault code memory.
Encoding
This system does not require encoding.
Handling the subwoofer
When fitting the rear seat backrest, stow away the subwoofer lines with plug connection such that they cannot be
trapped between the subwoofer/rear seat backrest and loading surface when locking the rear seat backrest in
position.
The subwoofer can be quickly removed should the full volume of the luggage compartment be required or when
using the ski bag:
• Remove ignition key
• Fold forward the backrest together with the subwoofer such that the plug connections of the subwoofer lines
are not trapped.
• Unlock white 3-pin plug connection and carefully release.
• Then unlock black 4-pin plug connection and carefully release.
• Release the three quick-release fasteners with the aid of a large screwdriver or a coin (turn 90° in
counterclockwise direction).
• Detach subwoofer.
The subwoofer is reinstalled easily in the same manner.
The subwoofer must always be secured with all three locking pins (catches) while driving.
Handling the roller blind
The roller blind must not be carried without being secured.
An additional step is necessary in order to stow away the cassette (roller blind) (refer to Owner's Handbook,
operation, loading area (boot) of touring, stowing away).
The original lock for the cassette (roller blind) must be supported by the use of the supplied lock pin
(see description Fig. J).
It is advisable to have the new locking method explained by the specialist personnel in the workshop.
