Vehicles without on-board monitor radio

On vehicles equipped with a loading aid, the lines of the power supply cable A must not come in contact with
the screw mounting points of the left-hand rail of the loading aid.
Route branch A1, red wire, to terminal point terminal 30 above the battery at the rear right of the luggage
compartment (see under Fig. F for connection).
Route branch A2, white wire, along left-hand rocker panel (sill) strip to place of installation of radio (1) and connect
with insulation displacement connector (2) to power supply line (3), white wire, from PIN 16 of black 17-pin socket
housing (4) of stereo wiring harness.
Firmly screw branch A3, 6 mm dia. cable eye, brown wire, to ground terminal point X13016 under left-hand tail light.

On vehicles equipped with a loading aid, the lines of the power supply cable A must not come in contact with

Route branch A2, white wire, to place of installation of on-board monitor radio (1) and connect with insulation
displacement connector (2) to power supply line (3), white wire, from PIN 16 of black 17-pin socket housing (4) of
stereo wiring harness.
Firmly screw branch A3, 6 mm dia. cable eye, brown wire, to ground terminal point X13016 under left-hand tail light.

Cut branch A1 from power supply cable A to size, crimp on supplied blade contact and plug into fuse holder C2
from power cable with fuse C.
Firmly screw power cable with fuse C to terminal point terminal 30 above battery with 6 mm dia. cable eye, C1.

The illustration shows the connection of branch B1 from speaker cable B.The same procedure should be
followed for branches B2 to B4. On vehicles equipped with a loading aid, the lines of the speaker cable B must not
make contact with the screw mounting points of the left-hand rail of the loading aid.
Route branches B1 to B4 to stereo wiring harness (1) at rear left wheelhouse and connect with insulation
displacement connectors (2) to speaker line of same colour of stereo wiring harness (1).

Route branches B1 to B4 to stereo wiring harness (1) at on-board monitor radio and connect with insulation
displacement connectors (2) to speaker line of same colour of stereo wiring harness (1).

Remove left-hand mounting plate (1) of roller blind (2) and replace by the supplied cut-out mounting plate (3)
(Item 10 in Parts Overview).

The left-hand mounting plate (1) in the vehicle must be replaced. It is not suitable for ensuring satisfactory
installation of the subwoofer due to the risk of damage it poses.
Mark hole (4) with the dimensions a and b on the roller blind (2) with centre punch.
Dimension a = 111 mm
Dimension b = 1.5 mm
Drill marked point to 3.0 mm dia.
