PREPARING FOR INSTALL
STEP 4:
Wrap the threads on the tapered side
of the adapter with four or five layers
of thread seal tape. Then, screw the
adapter into the wall — first by hand.
Get out the installation key again. You'll
see notches on one side. These easily
slide onto the open end of the adapter,
creating leverage so you can turn the
adapter and screw it on completely.

STEP 5:
Take the collar you selected in Step 3,
and slip the rubber gasket (I) onto the
flat end of the adapter. Screw the collar
onto the gasket/adapter until the gasket
rests flush against the wall.

STEP 5A: IF YOU HAVE A LEDGE
Because you have a ledge, you'll need to
use the spacer you selected in Step 3 to
correctly position your Nebia by Moen
bracket. Once you've placed the gasket
over the adapter, insert the spacer over
the adapter as well. Then screw the collar
onto the spacer/gasket/adapter combo until
the gasket pushes firmly against the wall.
