Pet Fountain: Clean the Pet Fountain once a week.
1. Unplug the Pet Fountain and disconnect the In-Line Plug.
2. Remove Housing Lid and the Charcoal Filter.
3. Remove the Reservoir.
4. Empty the water out of the Pet Fountain.
5. Remove the Pre-Filter by gently pulling up on the top
lip (Fig. 7).
6. Remove the Housing by gently pushing in on either side of the Pet Fountain where the
curve meets the seam. Gently lift up (Fig. 8-10). You will notice the right side of the
Housing will offer some resistance as the water Intake Tube pulls away from the Pump.
7. Remove the Pump from its cavity by placing your index finger behind Pump and
gripping the bottom of the Pump with your thumb.
8. Lift the Pump straight up – this may require slight force until the suction cups release.
9. Pull the In-Line Plug up through the hole located next to the Pump (Fig. 11 & 12).
10. Clean away any hair, debris or kibble that may have accumulated around the Flow
Control Knob and the Faceplate of the Pump.

1 1. Once the Pet Fountain is completely disassembled you will have 6 plastic parts.
12. Clean the Pet Fountain plastic parts with warm water and soap. You can also put
the Pet Fountain in the top rack of the dishwasher. Remove the Pump before placing
in the dishwasher. NEVER PLACE PUMP IN THE DISHWASHER! If possible, it is
recommended that you turn down the heat of the water inside the dishwasher. The Pet
Fountain may also be cleaned with a diluted vinegar soulution (20% white vinegar
and 80% water). Be sure to rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
