vided to the wooden cross-beam (3).

Adjustment options

To preset your desired position, the head piece can
be manually locked in one of four different positions
(position 1).
The remaining comfort zones can be adjusted via the
pneumatic ball handle.
To set the sitting position
Pull on the pneumatic ball handle to slightly lower
the back section. At the same time, the foot section
moves into a knee bend position. When the ball handle is
released, the slat base is locked in the desired position.
To set the horizontal position
To move the uni 11_45 interactive from the sit-up to
the horizontal (flat) position, pull on the pneumatic ball
handle (4) again and use your body weight to push the
back piece into the horizontal position.

Maintenance and precautions

CAUTION!
The pneumatic frame must only be ad-
justed with a mattress in place! The adjustment of the
back section without a mattress may result in personal
injury.
If used in bedsteads with a continuous supporting
rail, ensure that the cable is not bent.
The uni 11_45 interactive and accessories must be
protected from rain or other sources of humidity. Do not
store or use the uni 11_45 interactive and accessories in
extreme temperatures in excess of 60 °C, as this can lead
to malfunctions and deformation of parts. The uni 11_45
interactive has been designed for use in temperatures
between +5 °C and 40 °C.
To prevent damage to the uni 11_45 interactive or
personal injury, do not feed cables through the adjust-
ment mechanism. The cables must run freely. Ensure
that the different comfort sections of the slat base are
not blocked, as this can cause overheating and damage
to the uni 11_45 interactive.

Handle the uni 11_45 interactive and accessories
with care: do not dismantle or modify them and do not
allow children to play with them.
Clean the uni 11_45 interactive and accessories with
a dry cloth only. Do not use detergents or chemical
substances.
Behaviour in case of malfunctions
In case of malfunctions with your uni 11_45 interactive,
consult the following troubleshooting tips. If the problem
cannot be resolved, contact your Swissflex stockist.
Impaired functionality
Check that the cable is properly attached to the
wooden cross-beam (3) and not jammed.
Back and knee section cannot be locked after adjust-
ment
Check that the cable runs freely and is not bent. En-
sure that the ball handle can move freely and is not
jammed between the mattress and the bedstead.
Back and knee section is permanently locked
Check whether the cable is disconnected from the
pneumatic spring. If so, please consult your Swissflex
stockist.
Ball handle cannot be moved at all or only with difficulty
Check whether the cable is jammed. If so, rearrange
it freely in a large loop. Check whether the cable is
bent. If so, please consult your Swissflex stockist.
