the removal of dust from your slat base, we recom-
mend the use of a dry cloth.

Changing the batteries of the radio remote control
• Insert a coin into the opening at the top of the de-
vice. Twist the coin diagonally and carefully push
the two halves apart.
• Change the battery, making sure to use only CR
2032 batteries. Make sure to insert batteries in
the correct orientation (+/-)
• Next, push the two halves back together.

Remove the cover of the battery compartment (5) on
the underside of the switching power supply. Care-
fully remove the batteries from the battery clips.
Place two 9V block batteries in the compartment,
paying attention to the +/- markings. The batteries
provide power in the case of a power failure.
What to do in case of malfunction
Loss of power in the sitting position
To readjust your bed to the flat position after a power
outage, you must connect the block batteries and
press the emergency-lowering button on the radio
receiver. The batteries of the switching power sup-
ply provide the power required to reset the motor.
Repeated use of the emergency lowering function
puts a significant strain on the batteries, in which
case they must be replaced.

All functions fail
Is mains voltage supplied? Check by switching on
your reading light. If there is no power, check the
fuse.
Motor fails
Check the supply lines and restore if necessary. If
these checks and measures do not resolve the prob-
lem, contact your expert stockist without delay.
