12. IR remote control

a) Inserting/changing the remote control battery
Only replace the battery with a battery of the same type (see "Technical data").
• Remove the transparent plastic film in the battery compartment before using the remote control for the
first time.
• If the remote control no longer functions properly or the range decreases, the battery is probably empty
and must be replaced with a new battery of the same type.
• Remove the battery holder on the bottom of the remote control by pulling outwards. To do this, slide the
lock on the end of the battery holder to the right and then remove the battery holder.
• Remove the old battery.
• Insert a new 3 V CR2025 button cell battery with correct polarity into the battery holder (observe the
plus/+ and minus/- signs on the battery holder).
• Slide the battery holder with the newly inserted battery back into the correct position. Ensure that it
clicks into place properly.
b) Using the remote control to control the LED strip
You can control the features of the LED strip using the remote control (6). Direct the remote control at the
infra- red sensor (3) on the product. Press the corresponding button to select the desired feature.
