down with your finger until it locks, in order to lock the
brakes for example: for parking, to unlock and release the
brakes, simply pull the flap back. (Picture 18+17).
If you want to get up from the wheelchair you must
activate the fixing brakes additional to the hand
brake.
Activate parking brakes and use
When delivered, the fixing brakes are correctly adjusted
to the configuration condition. If you changed the position
of the wheel, the position of the brake might need to be
adjusted as well.
To do so, remove the screws on the bottom of the bra-
ke (see picture 20) and move the whole unit, so that the
space between the pivot bolt and the wheel is as big as 10
mm. Tighten the two screws for an optimal setting.
Make sure, that the screws are inserted and tighte-
ned properly!
Push the brake lever forwards in order to apply and activa-
te the brakes until it engages. Pull the lever towards you in
order to loosen the brake. (Picture 21+22).
Make sure the fixing brakes are locked by moving the
wheelchair.
For a comfortable transfer from and to the wheelchair,
the parking brakes can be folded. To do so, pull the le-
ver upwards and then folde it. (Picture 23+24).
