2 6•HOOD: To fit the hood, slide the clips into
the matching slots on the Skate bassinet unit
or Skate seat and fasten the buttons on the
sides – 4 for the Skate bassinet unit and 2 for
the Skate seat (Fig.a).
To release it, unbutton the hood from the
sides of the Skate bassinet unit or Skate
seat, press the two buttons under the hood
attachment slots and at the same time pull
out the clips (Fig.b).
2 7•The hood can be set in 2 different positions:
it can be pulled forwards or backwards. The
zipper makes a further adjustment possible
with the Skate bassinet unit.
It also has a viewing window.
2 8•RAIN CANOPY: It can be fitted on both the
Skate bassinet unit and the Skate seat.
Zip it to the hood (A), move the lower part of
the rain canopy below the Skate seat (B), pass
the elastic strips with the buttons behind the
Skate bassinet unit or Skate seat couplings (C)
and attach them to the rain canopy (D).
• Thanks to the elastic strips, the rain canopy
can be opened with the zipper while still
attached to the Skate seat.
• If you wish to turn the Skate seat around, it
is not necessary to remove the rain canopy
because it stays attached to the Skate seat
without interfering with the Skate chassis.
• Do not use the rain canopy indoors. Always
ensure that the child does not get too hot.
• Do not place the rain canopy near sources of
heat and keep it away from cigarettes.
• Ensure that the rain canopy is clear of any
moving mechanisms.
• Always remove the rain canopy before
folding up Skate.
• Wash with a sponge and soapy water,
without using detergents.
2 9•FOLDING UP: Fold away the hood if it is
attached. Lower the Skate seat to the lowest
level. It is not possible to fold up the Skate
chassis with the Skate bassinet unit attached;
it is necessary to remove it.
It is possible to fold up the Skate chassis with
the Skate seat attached; it is not necessary to
remove it.
If it is attached to the Skate chassis facing the
person pushing (Fig.a), pull the safety lever
outwards (1) and at the same time recline the
Skate seat while lifting the handle behind the
backrest (2) and position it in line with the
Skate chassis (3).
If the Skate seat is attached to the Skate
chassis facing forwards (Fig.b), lift the handle
behind the backrest and position the Skate
seat in line with the Skate chassis.
3 0•FOLDING UP: To fold up the Skate chassis,
turn the lever on the right hand side of the
handle upwards and then do the same with
the one on the left. Press the central closure
pedal with your foot and lower the Skate
chassis. The closure clip will automatically
lock on the right hand side of the chassis.
To make the folded up Skate chassis as
compact as possible, release the Skate seat
and remove the wheels.
3 1•TRANSPORT: Two transport modes are
possible. It can be carried by the handle
under the basket, or pulled like a trolley by
straightening the main handle and putting
the front wheels in the fixed position.
SKATE CHASSIS +
PRIMO VIAGGIO CAR SEAT
Thanks to the standard adaptors, the Peg
Perego group 0+ "Primo Viaggio SIP", "Primo
Viaggio Tri-fix", "Primo Viaggio Tri-fix e" and
"Primo Viaggio Tri-fix es" car seats can be
attached to the Skate chassis.
3 2•Before fitting the adaptors, check that the
attachments on the Skate chassis are both in
the central and vertical position (Fig. a).
You can distinguish the right adaptor (DX)
from the left one (SX) by the letters DX and
SX on the inner side.
To attach the Car Seat adaptors, place them
into their slots on the Skate chassis, lining up
the notches on the adaptors with those on
the Skate chassis (Fig. b), and click them into
place (Fig. c).
3 3•To attach the car seat to the Skate chassis,
position the seat above the adaptors and
facing the person pushing, then push
downwards.
WARNING: Line the car seat up with the
chassis as shown in the figure and check
that it is properly attached by ensuring
that the red mark on the adapter is no
longer visible.
To release the car seat from the Skate chassis,
use the lever on the backrest of the car seat
and lift it.
To release the adaptors, press the inner
button and pull them upwards.
REMOVABLE COVERS
How to remove the covers of
the SKATE BASSINET UNIT
Remove the hood, cover and front bar if
they are attached, and completely lower the
backrest.
3 4•Remove the internal mattress pad by slipping
it off the backrest (Fig. a). Lift all of the inner
padding (Fig. b) and slide off the backrest
adjuster strap (Fig.c).
3 5•First release the side tabs and then the one
at the feet end by pressing on the clip at the
bottom and pushing from outside (Fig. a).
