the product and keep them in a safe place for future reference.

Preparing the hair
• Wash your hair and dry it well.
• Comb your hair thoroughly. Do not use hairspray or other flammable chemical hair care products.
• Place a hand towel around your neck to prevent the possibility of skin burns.
Switching on the appliance
Note!
During operation or during the cooling phase, place the appliance only on the stand (i).

• Use the locking disc (g) to open the appliance (see fig. 1). Insert the mains plug and switch
on the appliance using the ON/OFF switch (a) (see fig. 2). The temperature control lights 1-3
illuminate immediately, the 4th flashes until the appliance has reached its pre-set temperature
of 160°C (see fig. 3). The pre-set temperature is reached after approx. 1 minute.

• Select the suitable temperature for your hair type. Notes on this are found in the table below!
Setting lower temperature levels
• Press the "–" key repeatedly on the switch (b) until the required temperature level is set (see
fig. 4a). Minimum temperature 100°C.
