In TEST MODE, the system resets the polarity reversal timer and the output level selected. In this mode the system is fully operational,
making polarity reversal of the electrodes every 2 minutes. To quit TEST MODE, the system must be switched off from the 230 Vac mains for
a few seconds. Switching on the system again, it automatically returns to the previous self-cleaning program.
5.4.
Integrated pH controller (MOD-XX PH models)
The integrated pH controller is supplied with a default factory calibration and programmed with the following parameters:
SETPOINT (SET) pH="7.2"
IMPORTANT: In order to have a correct regulation of the pH value, the Total Alkalinity of the pool water must be maintained in the range
60–120 ppm CaCO
. Use a pool water test kit to check the Total Alkalinity and adjust manually if necessary.

5.4.1.
CONNECTION OF THE PH SENSOR
Connect the pH sensor provided with the unit to the corresponding BNC connector located in the unit's base (Fig. 21).
5.4.2.
CONNECTION OF THE DOSAGE PUMP
The MOD. XX-PH systems have a connector on their base for connecting a dosage pump to control the pH of the water in the pool. The
dosage pump can be connected through the CEE22 connector supplied for that purpose with the equipment (Fig. 21).
5.4.3.
PH SETPOINT PROGRAMMING
Keep the "SET" [7] key pressed until the screen [10] the desired pH value within the 7.0 – 7.8 range. Release after selection.
