Function:
black/green wire, right direction indicator lamp
black/white wire, left direction indicator lamp
– Lift the standard wiring harness out of the wiring duct in the left door sill.
– Pull the black/green wire and the black/white wire out of the wiring harness.
– Cut the black/green and black/white wires of the standard wiring harness and strip 10 mm of the
insulation on both sides of the cut
– Solder the towing attachment wires to the ends of the wiring harness wires of the same colour and
insulate the connections

Cut jumper link at the relay between 86 and 87a and strip
and tin 8-10 mm on both ends.
Separate grey/green lead for rear fog light of standard
wiring harness and insulate and tin-coat the ends as
previously.
– relay according to the circuit diagram and clip into the
cable duct.
– Solder wire from 86 to grey/green wire coming from
the front.
– Solder wire from 87a to the wire going to the rear.
– Connect wire on 85 to the grey/green wire of the trailer
wire set.

In vehicles equipped with the Parktronic system, solder
the brown/white wire of the towing attachment wiring
harness to the standard wiring harness at point 2. Pull
the brown/white wire of the standard wiring harness out
of the harness, cut it and strip 10 mm of the insulation on
both sides of the cut. Cut the wire of the towing attachment
wiring harness and strip 10 mm of the insulation on both
sides of the cut.
Solder all the wire ends together and insulate the connection
